Biographies
Stan Wood is 28 year retired computer professional who was involved in Customer Service, Technical Support, Project Management and Crisis Management for several major computer companies. Stan was also involved in several startup companies funded by firms such as Sevin Rosen Funds and Centerpoint Ventures. While in the computer industry he helped in key positions involving critical customers and applications. Most recently, as a Executive Customer Satisfaction Manager for Hewlett-Packard, Stan's role was to manage critical customer situations keeping mind of the fact that press involvement would be counter productive to both Customers and HP.
Stan was involved in product delivery of Bleeding Edge Super Computers to Government Agencies, Training, Service and Strategic plan development for products and services. One of the most critical areas to the products being supported was the environmental conditions such as Power, Air and external RF interference. It was during this time that Stan ventured into the Commercial and Residential Property Assessment Arena.
Stan is an active Boy Scout Leader (coming up on 18 years), with several High adventure trips under his belt. 3 of which to Philmont MN. Stan is a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Lewisville TX. A member of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge #201, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, SJ., USA Valley of Dallas Orient of Texas. This groups owns and maintains the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Stan is also Member of Hella Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S. of Garland TX, which help to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children. These hospitals are a network of pediatric specialty hospitals where children under the age of 18 receive excellent medical care free of charge. There are 18 orthopedic Shriners Hospitals, 3 Shriners Hospitals dedicated to treating severe burn, and 1 Shriners Hospital that provided orthopedic, burn and spinal cord injury care.
Stan enjoys playing his guitar, and is accomplished artist in Bluegrass and Old Time Country and Gospel Music. Stan is married to his lovely wife since 1977, has three boys. Faith, Family & Friends bring his guiding light.
